Our Curriculum is highly adaptable to every learning style. At Aero Global Aviation Academy, Our experienced Flight Instructors will make sure earning your Private Pilot’s License will be an easy and fun experience.

There are three tests required to get your license: A written exam, an oral exam and a practical exam. Aero Global Aviation Academy prepares you for each of these tests and guarantees that you’ll pass.

Can I become A Private Pilot?

The requirements to be a Private Pilot are listed below:

• Be at least 17 yrs Old
• Be able to read, speak and write the English Language
• Must have at least a Third Class Medical Certificate.

Minimum Aeronautical Experience

40 hours Total Time (TT) that includes:
At least 40 hours of dual flight training:

• 3 hours of cross-country flight training
• 3 hours of night flight training
• 10 takeoffs and landings at night
• 3 hours of flight training maneuvering the airplane solely by reference to instruments
• 10 hours of solo flight time that includes at least 5 hours of solo cross-country time

Important Note: The FAA minimum required hours for the Private Pilot Certificate is 40 hours TT, but the national average is about 65 hours TT.
